Materials

All Hand Made Products take time.

If you think I am too expensive, then please exercise your choice to seek cheaper alternatives.

But pattern making, hand punching, hand dyeing, hand stitching are all time intensive, I hope you understand.

I do not use machine stitching or Chrome Tan Leather.

I obtain my leather from my Local Supplier

(J Wood Leathers Ltd, Steeton Grove, Steeton, Keighley,West Yorkshire, BD20 6TT)

and use UK suppliers for additional items where possible.

The majority of fittings are now from China, but I do my best to source UK products where available.

I use a combination of 2 to 3.5mm Natural Veg Tan Leather. All dyes used are Water Based.

I do use Nylon Threads but purely for longevity of the product.

If you have a colour in mind, please ask, I'll let you know if I can meet your request with the dyes.

A choice of Thread Colour is available, so if you want the thread to blend in or stand out, just ask.

Any lining is done using Pig Skin for the suede effect. If you have any religous constraints, then pig skin can be substituted with an alternative liner. Again colour choice is available (Black, Brown, Honey or Tan).

Choice of fittings are available, from how the item is closed and secured, to the strap rings or buckles.

Suppliers come and go and choices vary.
